Headquarters of the Workers’ Society

The Workers’ Society was established in Bosa on April 7, 1867, through the interest of Cavalier Gavino Nino, a Freemason, former member of parliament, town councilor of the town and director of the Royal Gymnasium. Its holdings are interesting historically and artistically: the society’s headquarters has an archive where all historical documents are kept, a beautiful 19th-century safe with obvious Masonic symbols, a table bell depicting the world wars, but the greatest cultural attraction is the works of Parma painter Emilio Scherer.
