Carbonia

Carbonia boasts a thousand-year history highlighting a common thread that links the various historical periods, and this thread is represented by manual labor related to coal and metals, which the Nuragics knew how to skillfully forge.
Later the Phoenicians came to these places and integrated with the native populations.
Traces of this integration are documented particularly in the Sirai nuraghe.
Through this journey that unfolds over time, we arrive at the most recent days that give us the City of Carbonia, a jewel of rationalist architecture that is the subject of international studies of great interest.
Thus, thanks to this millennia-long journey, today is enriched and makes us strong with a vitality that, in a difficult situation such as the one we are experiencing, leads us to develop robust actions capable of safeguarding the beauty of a City as an extraordinary open-air museum and which, with determination, we intend to enhance and promote.
