Ossi

Ossi is a town of about 6,000 inhabitants located in Coros, in the northwestern part of Logudoro.
In the center of the town stands the parish church of San Bartolomeo dating from the 17th century in addition to the churches of Santa Croce and Santa Vittoria. The village has kept its origins and ancient traditions firmly intact.
Another important site is the Baronial Palace, dating back to the 1600s, which has been home to the entnographic museum for several years.
Around the village are several necropolis including Mesu e Montes, S’Adde e Asile and the megalithic tomb of Ena ‘e Muros predating the Nuragic Age and the village of Sa mandra ‘e sa Giua, rich in archaeological finds.
