The surprises that the neighborhood holds are hidden by the buildings that behind and beneath their walls preserve the rural character that Cagliari’s urban periphery had until the 1950s. Wrecks of orchards, secret gardens, wells to irrigate fertile vegetable gardens owned by Cagliari aristocrats are the protagonists of the story we will tell as we walk comfortably through the streets of the neighborhood accompanied by Marquis Pasqua, the Baroness of Capoterra, Judge Mattana, and Cavalier Tarletti. The route will end in the 17th-century Church of St. Benedict where, thanks to the hospitality of the Good Shepherd Sisters, it will be possible to exceptionally visit the cloister, the refectory with the recently restored stone vault and the crypt.
