Thàmus Sassari museum and cultural

The name Thàmus was born from the meeting of the medieval toponym of the city of Thatari and the museum circuit, encapsulating Sassari’s identity, culture and history in six letters.

The mark reproduces the ceiling decoration of the entrance lobby of the City Hall Theater, home of the City Museum. Also part of the Museum is the section “The Rooms and Cellars of the Duke in the Ducal Palace.” The Thàmus cultural network suggests to the visitor an itinerary that involves, in addition to the City Museum, the Ducal Palace, the Palace of Insinuation, the Palace of Usini, the Palace of the San Pietro Infirmary, the Fountain of Rosello, the Palace of the Frumentaria and, in the suburban area, the archaeological area of Monte d’Accoddi.
