The Way of Reflection

The third route runs along Viale Italia.

Along the street, at John Paul II Square, you can admire several murals created over the years by local and non-local artists. Themes include civic sense, inclusion, the importance of listening, mutual respect and love for animals.

Of particular note is the work entitled “Disterru,” created in September 2024 and dedicated to the phenomenon of migration to Belgium that affected many citizens in the 1950s.

Also noteworthy is the mural on the same route, representative of the Inquisition in Sardinia, which is characterized by being the largest mural in Europe. The itinerary is also enriched by the presence of numerous statues and other pictorial works.
