The special structure of the Ark of Time stands in the Cuccuru Nuraxi Archaeological Park, and allows an exciting virtual journey through time, from the Neolithic age to the present day, in the landscape and monuments of the vast area of Cagliari. The initial project of a virtual reconstruction of the well alone extended to the reconstruction over time of the entire landscape perceptible in the horizon circle of the Cuccuru Nuraxi hilltop. To this first landscape were added those visible from the Devil’s Saddle, from the fort of Sant’Ignazio, from Monte Urpinu, and from the tower of San Pancrazio: each landscape was reconstructed as it might have been seen by Neolithic, Nuragic, Phoenician, Roman, Judicial, Spanish, and Piedmontese men.
