The Naturalia Environmental Education Center exhibits its taxidermist collections of birds and mammals, eggs, minerals and insects in the naturalist museum.
The taxidermist collection has many valuable scienti che such as several bird specimens of enormous educational and biogeographical value, some of which are rare in Sardinia such as the Bonelli’s Eagle, Osprey, Eagle Owl, Sultan Chicken, and Prairie Hen.
Much of the materials are displayed through the temporary diorama technique, which involves placing them in their specially recreated habitat.
