The Sisters of the Redemption Convent was born in 1949 with the purchase of the manor house from Mr. Cossu. In the 1950s the nuns, thanks to the intervention of the Santa Cruz family, which had a daughter nun at the convent, put in place a renovation of the building more suited to the needs of the sisters. In later times a part of the neighboring Angioni house was also acquired, which allowed the convent perfect autonomy in terms of privacy.
