In 1994 the fam. Cherchi, donated a building area to Beata Vergine della Neve Parish, with a commitment from the parish to erect a Church dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima. The desire dates back to 1984, warmly favored by the pastor at the time Fr. Giuseppe Angius. With parish priest Fr Tarcisio Ortu, once the clearance was obtained from the Bishop’s Curia of Ales-Terralba, work began. It was consecrated in May 2001. The small church with its bell tower is very welcoming, made entirely of stone and wooden trusses. It was embellished in the centennial year of Our Lady of Fatima’s apparitions to the three shepherd children with a large wooden crucifix that completes the presbytery area along with the granite altar and ambo and the silver tabernacle. In honor of St. Pio of Pietrelcina, a statue of him was also placed in the square in front.
