The Church dedicated to St. Antiochus is adjacent to the former Convent of the Capuchin Friars, with respect to which it pre-existed for several decades. It dates, in fact, to the very early years of the 17th century.
Inside, an ancient baptismal font from 1734 can be admired, as well as fine materials such as the Byzantine marble of the main altar and the inlaid woods of the altars and impressive cornices. There are several paintings, one of which is attributed to the well-known seventeenth-century painter Orazio de Ferrari depicting the Crucifixion and a second painting by the Cagliari painter Francesco Massa. Also of great value is the wooden sculpture of St. Fidelis of Sigmaringen made by the 18th-century Sardinian sculptor Giuseppe Antonio Lonis.
Following a major restoration, the church is now fully usable and open for worship.
