The parish church stands in the historic center of the town.
The present façade reveals the transformations it has undergone: it originally showed an austere façade typical of late Gothic architecture of Catalan influence, with the bell tower adhered to the main body.
In 1931 the facade was enlarged and made symmetrical, incorporating the old bell tower.
The new bell tower was built a few years later in the area of the granite mount.
The interior of the church consists of a large rectangular hall with a barrel vault, reinforced by three round arches.
Four chapels open symmetrically on each side.
Although the floor plan is clearly of late Gothic-Catalan origin, the current layout of the church seems to date from a later period between the 17th and 18th centuries.
