Church of St. John

The church has a single nave with two bays covered with cross vaults. The structure has three phases: the oldest with use of limestone ashlars is from the 11th-12th centuries; the second involved the change of roofing in the 17th century, the construction of the bell gable and the addition of buttresses; the third phase is dated to the late 19th century. In fact, it is the oldest church in the territory of Osilo. Today it is the stronghold of the association of the same name, which every year, with great commitment, repeats on June 23-24 the rite of the Ardia and that of the leap “de su fogu” as a seal of friendship (comparatico).
