Church of the Virgin of the Most Pure (known as the Church of the College)

The construction of the church named after the Virgin Purissima and the college attached to it is due to the order of the Society of Jesus present in Iglesias since 1578.

The building has a floor plan with a nave flanked by raised side chapels. The main compartment ends in a large chancel with a quadrangular floor plan, also located on a higher level than the hall.

Here you can also admire the Monumental Candlesticks of Iglesias that come out in procession during the Feast of Santa Maria di Mezo Gosto, on August 15.
