The ancient structure of medieval origin, until 1870 belonged to Count Paolo Spano, then passed to landowner Giovanni Pau who used it as a granary. Inherited by Oristan scholar Peppetto Pau, it was purchased in 1982 by restorer Duilio Tanchis who used it as a restoration laboratory.
