Domu Odilia is a manor house operating as a recreational and receptive center.
The house dates back to the 1950s, made entirely of stone, the Trachite of Serrenti, a symbol of identity and culture of the area, which can be admired in the imposing staircase leading to the courtyard and in some rooms inside.
Recreational and cultural activities are managed by the association Suona, established by artist Marco Lai as well as “su meri ‘e domu”(the master of the house), which for years has consolidated spaces and moments of aggregation, integration and cultural exchange.
It has a large courtyard “Sa Pratza” in which events are held and where the raw earth oven room overlooks, which hosts exhibitions and experiential workshops, and is rich in the furnishings of memory, ancient objects from the past.
For Monumenti Aperti there will be the exhibition “Sardinian Clothes and Ancient Women’s Crafts.” curated by artist Romina Tocco and art performances in Sa Pratza.
