Two colorful murals tell the fairy tales of Pinocchio and Alice in Wonderland:
The first mural, 40 meters long, is dedicated to the famous tale “The Adventures of Pinocchio. Story of a Puppet,” written by Carlo Collodi in 1903, a fairy tale that teaches young children the importance of being good, following rules and keeping the right company; it was created in 2016 on the initiative of local artist Antonio Russo, who involved 14 artists, each of whom drew a scene from the fairy tale. The other mural, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,” written by Lewis Carrol, recounts the vicissitudes and encounters of a little girl through a fantastic and surreal world. Work by Antonio Russo, who involved San Sperate muralist Massimo Cocco in the creation.
