Located in the historic center of Sinnai, Casa Gaias is a typical Campidanese house articulated around the open courtyard in which the water well opens. Built in the 18th century by the Puggioni family, the new owners have recovered and adapted the ancient structures to the needs of the current use as a B&B, preserving however the ancient floor plan with on the ground floor the living quarters and those destined for production activities and on the upper floor the barns for food storage. Thanks to the restorations, it is now again possible to admire the original arcades of the portico and the old wooden false ceiling in one of the rooms facing the loggia. The staircase to the upper floor, originally with slate-covered steps, also retains its ancient structure.
