The Casa Museo del Coltello Sardo (Museum House of the Sardinian Knife) was conceived and created by well-known cutler Paolo Pusceddu, who acquired the art of metalworking as a child under the guidance of his father Mario, a master blacksmith.
After a stint in Brescia, he began working at the age of 20 in his father’s workshop. These are years in which Paul honed the art of forging metals and making knives. Thus was born the idea of the brand name “L’Arburesa” with the intention of reviving the “old-fashioned” blades typical of the area.
In 1996, the old paternal house, restored with respect for the original 18th-century structure, became the “House Museum of the Sardinian Knife,” which is visited by thousands of tourists and schoolchildren every year
