The museum, dedicated to Liliana Cano, was born in 2023 with the opening of the facility. The Permanent Collection consists of about 90 works with mostly religious themes, although the Museum’s mission has other goals, including the creation of programming in which more of the painter’s works can be hosted, as well as works and exhibitions by other contemporary artists who practice different languages. This activity aims to include the Museum in tourism and cultural promotion circuits, reviving all channels that are activated from time to time as needed. Specifically: synergies will be activated with similar entities (museums, routes for visits to sites of artistic and cultural as well as landscape significance) and will be in constant contact with similar research and documentation centers, having the purpose of preserving the culture and tradition of Sardinia.
