It is an exhibition of more than 70 “Mining Machines” equipped with specific equipment for underground work representing the best of the technological evolution of industrial mining equipment in our country. A “Machinery Park” of great corporate prestige, which grew up in the mining underground and out of the external clamor, and which initiated increasingly innovative and competitive industrial processes, to which local mining technicians contributed in a decisive way with fundamental inventions, modifications and adaptations, transforming human labor into a world-leading industrial production system. The constant need to adapt mining machines and make them functional for various needs made Sardinian lead and zinc mines the testing ground and forge for experimenting with new technical solutions.
