It is a park created by painter Bruno Petretto, a native of Giave, in his home. The name is taken precisely from the country locality that lies between the bastion of Chighizzu and the keep of Sa Rocca Entosa. And it has an area of about 3 hectares. It was created more than 20 years ago with the collaboration of other artists. Inside we can find: stone sculptures, made from the boulders that fell during a landslide; ceramic and metal sculptures; paintings and photographs; and a special open-air gallery in the midst of nature. Contemporary art sculptures. Molineddu Park is also a meeting place for artists and enthusiasts as well as a venue for interesting artistic events. In fact, within the park there are as many as two arenas used for concerts and other cultural events. Every year, “Art Event Creation” is organized to give visitors the opportunity of the viewing of artworks by different artists by taking advantage of the Park’s spaces. The park is open to the public free of charge all year round. The most important works to visit are: the tree house; the Tibetan bridge; the small creek with bench for viewing the view; the house made in the rock; the table set for tea reminiscent of the movie “Alice in Wonderland” and other important ones.
