Corungiu Murvonis Village is a nuragic complex, strategically placed on a rocky outcrop from which a wide and panoramic view sweeps. From here we see the sector north to Calasetta and south to Capo Sperone. To the west the whole coast of Calasapone on the boundless horizon of the Sardinian Sea looking toward Spain. The large complex was certainly formed by a central keep and other towers leaning against it. It was also defended by a large bastion wall, the ruins of which can be seen, and by other towers and curtains, while around it was a village. In the western part of the complex there is a small lake presumably fed by spring water. The nature of the surrounding unspoiled landscape and the rich Mediterranean scrub vegetation are the habitat for hawks and in ancient times for mouflons (murvonis), of which only the toponym remains today.
