Nuragic Village of Palmavera

One of the most important archaeological sites in Sardinia, the Nuragic complex (15th-8th cent. BCE) hinges on a central body consisting of two towers and the ante-mural around which the rest of the village develops. Of interest are the main tower chamber, which still has a roof known as a “false dome,” and the Meeting Hut, a place of dialogue and administration of civil and religious power.
