Palazzo Tassoni Mirogli and the Casamento Savonarola are two of the buildings that make up the Ferrara University complex on Savonarola Street. Before the 2012 earthquake, they were the heart of the Athenaeum but, since May 20 of that year, they have been largely uninhabitable while waiting for recovery work to begin.
