This sector of the archaeological area is named after Massimo Pallottino, the archaeologist who led the excavations in the early 1940s. Of the bath structure, several rooms are visible, with mosaics of geometric style, equipped with a complex heating system placed under the floor and in the wall cavities. The monument, which can be dated to the end of the 3rd century AD, has been the subject of further excavation and restoration campaigns that have allowed for a better identification and understanding of the development and function of the rooms. A few meters from the bathhouse are visible four marble columns, part of a portico that bordered a paved space, which can be interpreted with good probability as the Forum Square, the political and administrative center that was not lacking in Roman colonies.
