Placed south of the historic center, it is located on a slightly elevated point over the surrounding area. The church has the characteristics of Sardinian houses of worship built in the late Gothic style of Catalan influence: in particular, the cross vaults with ribs and worked keystone ashlars and the entrance portal. It was probably first laid out in the second half of the 15th century, and was finished in the 16th century. In the following centuries the church then underwent extensions and modifications that brought it to its present configuration without, however, distorting its original character. As for the interior furnishings, the inlaid marble works of the Baroque baptismal font (18th century) and the high altar (early 19th century) are noteworthy. The church also houses two panels of a mid-16th-century retable attributed to Mainas. During the itinerary, it will also be possible to visit the church tower.
