The Shrine of Our Lady of Valverde, dating back to the 16th century, holds the very ancient Simulacrum of Our Lady, venerated by the faithful and the destination of many pilgrimages.
It has recently undergone several restorations that have restored to its former splendor the portico in front of the temple, the 1750 marble altar, the wooden altars, and the large paintings in the chapels.
