The Su Anzu Baths are located northeast of the town, at the foot of Mount S’Ospile, along a road connecting the town and the tourist areas of the Ispinigoli caves and the beaches of Cartoe and Osala. The structure was built through the use of simple and minimal techniques and has been modified over the years while preserving traces of the pre-existing elements. Currently, the baths are being redeveloped in the Territorial Development Project “Su Suercone, Identitary Environment.” The existing building has been renovated and the area in front of it has been redeveloped. About 160 meters from the spa venue is the country church of St. John, surveyed as a landscape asset. A little further on is the Su Anzu Cave, connected by a number of wells to the Ispinigoli sinkhole above, and the external river system called “Rio Su Anzu,” which, exiting the cave, continues its course through the church enclosure and then skirts the spa building.
