The Art Nouveau – historic center of Lamarmora Square, continuation of Corso Matteotti

It represents the intersection line of different streets and routes in the historic center and routes in the historic center. The widening is characterized by the fountain known as “Su Maimoni,” attributed to the late 18th century and demolished in 1872.
Recently reconstructed, raised from the street level by three steps at the center of which is the parapet of the well, topped by the statue of “Su Maimoni”-a demonic figure linked to the noise of the groundwater that flowed there or as an individual with an awkward expression.
