The Casa Fois winery is located in the historic center of Quartu, in the Cepola district, in one of the Campidanese houses from the early 19th century, originally owned by a noble family and later purchased by an ancestor of the family.
In the house, still inhabited by the Fois family, one can still distinguish the haystack, the stable (lollasde is bois) and the granary(su susu de su lori), which constitute the oldest rooms of the dwelling, now used as rooms for winemaking and wine sales.
Since the early twentieth century, with its first owner, the family has carried on the rural business, refining and expanding the wine business in particular. In 1994, the agricultural society “Villa di Quartu” was established. The Fois Family welcomes customers and wine enthusiasts by communicating their long experience through telling the story of the winery, local winemaking traditions, winemaking protocols, and concluding with a presentation of the wines produced.
