Wooden organ and choir (18th cent.)

The organ is dated 1732 as per the inscription readable on the cartouche below the central bay of the elevation.
It is thought, because of the many similarities with the organ in Castelsardo Cathedral, that the maker was the Neapolitan organ builder Leonardo Spensatello, who together with his brother, also a religious, was in Sardinia in those years.
The organ consists of 369 pipes, with nine registers.
Most of the components are original.
The case is closed with two painted doors: on the outside, the two canvases depict, on the left St. Cecilia (patroness of singing and music) and on the right St. Barbara.
Among the six ancient organs in the diocese of Nuoro, the one in Orani turns out to be the largest.
