Pedaling in the park of Molentargius: itinerary for Quartu Sant’Elena Monumenti Aperti 2025

The association A.S.D. Seguimi will organize a bicycle tour inside Molentargius Park for Quartu Sant’Elena Monumenti Aperti 2025.

The tour will be divided into ten-station stops that include a few minutes of rest enlivened by an illustration of the site where you are stopping.

Starting from Don Giordi Street, the itinerary will travel throughout the Park, winding through the sports area, the Fossil Beach, the Forced Shed, the Thrill Park, the Selected Salts Building, the La Palma Canal and the Rollone Water Works. Finally, visitors will return to the meeting point from the wooden bridges.

The itinerary is part of the Culture Without Barriers – Monuments Open to All project, an initiative established in 2003 with the aim of facilitating accessibility to monuments for those with temporary or permanent disadvantages and disabilities.

Reservations are required to participate in the itinerary by Friday, May 9, at 3336578928 (contact person Daniela). Helmets, traditional bicycles and bicycles usable by people with disabilities such as adult tricycles and tandems can also be reserved.

The itinerary will take place on Sunday, May 11. The meeting point for departure is the Molentargius-Saline Regional Nature Park, entrance via Don Giordi Street, first left gate, at 8:45 a.m., with departure scheduled for 9:00 a.m. The itinerary will last 3 hours.
