Donate your 5 X 1000

Again this year we are among the beneficiaries of the MiC’s 5X1000, which provides funding for the protection, promotion and enhancement of cultural and scenic assets (subjects referred to in Art. 2, paragraph 2, of Presidential Decree July 28, 2016), so on your tax return forms (supplementary CUD form , 730 form or Unico Form of Income for Individuals) we ask you to donate
your 5 per thousand of IRPEF revenue to the voluntary organization Imago Mundi
in the appropriate section, as indicated in the

fac simile form

, indicating the Tax Code 02175490925
Thanks to a rule introduced by the 2006 budget law, taxpayers have the option to decide to direct the 5 per thousand, however due, at no charge to different purposes.

Please note: The 5 x 1000 is not a substitute for the 8 x 1000 earmarked for religious denominations, but these are two separate possibilities that citizens have to allocate their contribution and it does not cost anything. The 5 x 1000 is one more choice of how to differently donate a percentage of the income going to the state.

The term five per thousand is used to define the mechanism by which citizen-taxpayers can tie 5 per thousand of their IRPEF to support entities that carry out socially relevant activities (nonprofit, scientific and health research).

This means that a gesture that costs nothing is transformed into an important opportunity for the benefit of the entire community, simply by putting your signature in one of the four appropriate boxes that appear on the declaration forms (CUD – 730 – unico) “Support of nonprofit organizations of social utility, associations of social promotion, associations and foundations” and indicating the beneficiary’s tax code.

Allocating your 5 per thousand to Monumenti Aperti is easy: the CUD, 730 and UNICO tax return forms contain a dedicated space where you can sign and indicate, in the section on subject funding, the number of
tax code 02175490925
of Imago Mundi, the volunteer organization that has organized the regional Open Monuments event since 1997.
