In 1984, as a result of the preventive archaeological survey initiated during the construction of the Municipal Technical Office, a funerary area with numerous burials of different types, inhumation and incineration, dating from the 1st century AD onward, was brought to light. A monumental tomb and other wall structures were identified in the area.
