The building housing the central elementary school was built around the 1940s.
Rising with its current intended use, it was built on the immediate then outskirts of the town with advanced construction techniques for the time.
Built by local contractors, it had the architectural features of an apartment building: with granite block wall faces, two above-ground floors surmounted by wooden roofs to this day still intact.
