The Church of Carmel, located in the historic center of Gavoi, was built during the 17th century in Aragonese Gothic style. The rather small building has a rectangular floor plan divided into a single nave, while tall semicircular windows open along the side walls. The graceful masonry facade, concluded at the top by a distinctive curvilinear pediment in which a small bell gable is set, houses in the center the wooden entrance door surmounted by an elegant circular rose window.
