The building would date back to the 10th-11th centuries. On the right side of the facade was a window with a brick frame that is now concealed. The original layout of the building, made with Byzantine artistic and religious forms, included three naves (divided between them by arcades) and as many semicircular apses. Currently, the central hall and the end part of the right aisle are visible. The central hall is divided into four bays by transverse round arches and made of brick. The original barrel-vaulted ceiling has been replaced by a roof of wooden beams.
