The small church was built around 1280 in the Romanesque-Pisan style. Saint Barbara, imprisoned for her faith in Christ, was condemned to be beheaded. According to legend, the moment the Saint’s head fell to the ground, the spring “Sa Scabitzada” would begin to spring up nearby.
