The Little Church of St. Basilides, patron saint of prison guards, is a few meters walk from the prison complex. It was built by the inmates themselves and dates back to the late 19th century. The building is small and simple, with a single nave and a stained-glass window at the entrance depicting the saint with the cross, a symbol of his conversion.
