The church of St. Mark the Evangelist represents the main house of worship in Fertilia. The building, built in the 1930s, features a gabled facade and an entrance with a large window. Inside the church one can admire the fine mosaic on the high altar of the Risen Jesus with angels; it was made in 1939 by Sardinian painter Giuseppe Biasi, one of the most influential artists on the island.
