Built after 1300, it is remembered in history texts because in its vicinity, on April 13, 1470, took place the battle in which the Marquis of Oristano, Leonardo Alagon, defeated the Aragonese led by Viceroy Nicolò Carroz. The building has a longitudinal plan with a bell gable that stands out in the bare facade. Inside, four tall, sturdy pillars support a roof over wooden travia, at the ends of which are fine carved wooden corbels. Not far from the church are Nuragic remains that suggest the existence of an earlier pre-Christian place of worship, probably dedicated to the sacredness of water.
