The parish church is located in the center of the town, near Martyrs’ Square and Boyl Palace. The structure, which dates from the 17th cent. is of Catalan-Gothic design, but over time it has undergone various modifications. The church has a longitudinal plan and features a barrel-vaulted nave, which was once frescoed. The presbytery is rectangular in shape with a cross vault. Over time the Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin and the Chapel of the Rosary were added. Next to the sacristy is the oldest chapel, that of St. Lucy. Thanks to restoration work, a number of tombs have been found in the nave, the oldest dating back to the early 17th century.
