Built on the premises of the former Monte Granatico, the civic archaeological museum is filled with artifacts mainly from Punic and Roman times. Of note is the pre-Nuragic material of the Abealzu-Filigosa culture, evidence of the earliest frequentation of the area. There are a number of panels illustrating ancient Gurulis Vetus and the area’s road system. In addition, a section dedicated to the archaeological excavations of the adjacent Church of Santa Giulia has been included.
