The present structure was inaugurated on 04/21/1938. A church dedicated to St. Joseph Benedict Cottolengo was built inside the structure.
In 1940, the church bell was blessed on which is written, “The noble couple Santa Cruz to call the faithful to prayer and children to kindergarten offerings to St. Joseph Cottolengo 1940.”
Currently, there is an integrated facility that houses elderly and disabled people and a room used as a workshop facility in which artistic-manipulative activities are carried out by the facility’s guests and the sisters.
