The 18th-century Flores House is located on Via Roma in the historic center.
It belonged to the noble Flores family and because of its historical importance was donated to the municipality by its heirs.
One of the most significant passages of the Sardinian anti-feudal revolution took place in the Flores Palace.
From the balcony, in fact, in 1795 Francesco Cillocco divulged the viceroy’s pregone by speaking to the crowd and inciting the Thiesans who poured toward the Duke’s palace, almost completely demolishing it.
