The house is located on XX Settembre Street (S’arruga de Santa Maria) at Nos. 116 to 120 and with a secondary entrance from “su magasinu” on Garibaldi Street No. 105. Consisting of several dwellings and divided into two floors, the first one currently unvisited, it was built around 1830 with load-bearing walls made of “ladiri” and according to an architecture typical of Campidanese houses. The loggia faces southeast, has pointed arches, overlooks the garden, and has juniper and chestnut ceilings about 4 meters high. The typical defect of Campidanese houses with blind rooms is not present because it enjoys the double exposure on XX Settembre and Garibaldi streets. The building and its movable heritage can be considered an example of an ethnographic museum of the lower Campidano and specifically of the town of Quartu Sant’Elena, of its agro-pastoral culture with the collection and display of objects, tools and furniture typical of the quartese manor house.
