It is a way to preserve the city’s collective memory and give back to its inhabitants a piece of Alghero’s history and cultural identity, bringing to light practices, customs and traditions of Alghero’s seafaring tradition. The initiative involves the mooring of several Latin sailboats at the Sanità Quay in the port of Alghero. Each boat is matched by a narrative of its origins, history, owner and the Shipwright who made it.
