The church is located in the center of town, near the central Via G. Matteotti is a pearl of Bitonto Baroque with its typical ashlar entrance, erected to the design of the architect and engineer bitontino Vito Valentino in 1741.
Inside are splendid frescoes of the Neapolitan school enriched by gilded stucco and wooden structures, the majority of which are original.
Today the church is entrusted to the Archconfraternity of the Santissima Maria Annunziata.
