The mural was created within the context of the “AmaQuartu” project proposed by the Oikos Active Citizenship Association. The realization of the mural was entrusted to masked artist Manu Invisible. The work is inspired by the ideas of “Task” and “Responsibility” to send a message of land preservation, in line with the Association’s goal of giving voice to local environmental problems.
The artist has created a backdrop composed of marine flora and fauna that are threatened by widespread pollution. The concept of the work is manifested by a child’s hand composing a sand castle underwater.
The mural was unveiled in October 2024.
